We all know Steve Jobs, the entrepreneur who  built Apple into the world's most valuable company and the mastermind who emphasized style as much as function in our everyday digital devices.

Here are some facts about Steve Jobs that you probably didn't know about before.


1. Steve Jobs was 28, when he launched the first Macintosh in 1984, which become revolutionary over a course of time.


2. Steve drove Mercedes SL55 AMG car without any License plate for years.

3. In 1985, Steve was fired from Apple, The company he started from scratch. Due to the fallout between Steve and  former Pepsi CEO John Sculley who has Apple CEO at that time.


4. After leaving Apple, Steve bought the graphics group (now Pixar) for $10 Million and sold it to Disney in 2006 for $7.4 Billion. Pixar has made block buster movies like Toy Story, Finding Nemo and more.


5. Steve Jobs named the company Apple because it comes before Atari in a phone book. Atari was the company Jobs worked before starting Apple.

6. Jobs never learned how to code and never wrote even a single line of code.


7. He founded Apple in 1976, with former electronics hacker Stephen Wozniak in a garage in Silicon Valley.


8. Before giving any presentation in public Steve Jobs, practised the presentation over and over again until he mastered it.

9.   After being fired from Apple, Jobs applied to fly on the Space Shuttle as a civilian astronaut (though he was rejected)
